The electronic door signalling system allows cleanroom personnel to follow the prescribed operating regime for the movement of people and material. It consists of two or more signalling boxes located near the cleanroom doors above the suspended ceiling. For door interlocking, electronic signalling supplemented with an electromagnetic lock can be used.

• Door status indication built into the door frame
• Flush with the surface of the door frame in which it is installed
• Red and green light-emitting diodes signal standard operating states
  (“enter”, “do not enter”)
• An unauthorised state is signalled:
  • acoustically by a built-in piezoelectric siren
  • visually by a flashing red diode (“do not enter”)

• The open or closed status of the respective door is sensed by a reflective infrared sensor located in the door frame
