Exhaust arms are used in fields where there is a requirement for local exhausting of undesirable substances, such as in laboratories, hospitals, the chemical industry, or the pharmaceutical industry.
The dimension range Ø100 mm is designed for air volumes from 140 to 400 m3/h.

In the "CR" version (chemically resistant), the joint and pipeline are made of highly resistant polypropylene (PP). It is suitable for use in aggressive environments with strong chemicals.

The "AS" version is approved for use in ATEX environments (with explosive atmosphere) and ESD environments (with electrostatic discharges).

Explosive environments (ATEX areas) are defined by standards EN 13463-1:2001 art. 13.3.4.7 and IEC 61340-4-1:2003; the devices are therefore labelled EX II GD.

ESD environments (Danish DELTA and German BAM) are defined by standards IEC 61340-5-1 and IEC 61340-4-1.

Antistatic exhaust arms are supplied with a grounding wire for explosive areas. For ESD areas, the grounding wire (resistance 1 MΩ) is supplied separately.
